Erin Woods Style and Confidence in Black

Hi, Friend!

Welcome to my website!

I’m so grateful you have landed here to learn a little more about me and my passions and how we can connect and work together!

I’m a wife to my darling husband, Justin, and mom to my two sweet boys, Barrett and Lawson. My first career and love was English Literature and I taught high school English and Theatre for 12 years before leaving to stay home with my boys. At the time, Barrett was a toddler and Lawson an infant and while I loved my new role as a stay-at-home mom, I was struggling with loneliness, disconnection and having my own creative outlet.

Then I discovered Trades of Hope. I began working with Trades of Hope as a Partner in 2013 and fell in love with the company, the mission of empowering women through fashion and went on very quickly to become a top seller and leader. I have traveled to Haiti, to Guatemala, met artisans from Kenya, the Dominican Republic, Pakistan, India and more and all of these experiences just deepen my passion to use fashion as a force for good. I have learned about job creation as a way to combat global poverty and prevent human trafficking and I love being part of this incredible community of world changers.

Since 2013, I have built a beautiful team of Partners and Affiliates called the Great Love Nation and we lead Trades of Hope in sales, team building and impact. I have learned so much about connecting with women, helping women see what is possible, using scrappy determination to reach seemingly unreachable goals and just believing in crazy things like changing the world through jewelry. My Trades of Hope business fills my tank, is an anchor in difficult seasons, has challenged me and connected me to the most incredible people.

Then, I read an amazing book called Dream Big by Bob Goff and realized that my deepest daydreams and heart’s desire really centered around fashion and getting dressed. I started to uncover a desire in my heart that felt so right to say out loud: I wanted to be a personal stylist.

I knew my love of fashion, my deep understanding of the connection between style and confidence from my own struggles to find them and my ability to connect with women from a place of deep care and compassion made it a perfect fit. I began building Style + Confidence- a personal styling business that helps women dress confidently for the life they want to lead through a variety of style experiences.

It has been a literal dream come true to work with clients as a personal stylist. I have recently completed a diploma course through the London College of Style in Personal Styling and am now a certified Personal Stylist through the British Accreditation Council.

And of course, when I am not changing the world through fashion, I’m loving on my family, spending time with my husband and two rapidly growing boys, traveling, lifting weights, drinking great wine, hanging with friends or walking my sweet puppy, Scout.

Thank you for being here- whether it’s to learn more about Trades of Hope, Personal Styling or both, I can’t wait to connect and work together.

xo, Erin
